Wild's Rolston still sick, might not play against Panthers

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -Leading scorer Brian Rolston didn't practice Wednesday with Minnesota because of a lingering stomach virus that kept him out of the Wild's game at Dallas the night before.

Rolston, whose 25 goals and 46 points are tops on the team, saw a doctor instead of practicing. He wasn't feeling better but tests didn't reveal anything, assistant general manager Tom Lynn said. Rolston is questionable to play in Thursday's game against Florida.

Defenseman Kurtis Foster, however, participated fully in Wednesday's practice and probably will play against the Panthers. He hasn't suited up since hurting his knee on Jan. 16 against Edmonton.

Also Wednesday, the Wild sent right wing Joel Ward back to the minors for the fourth time this season. Ward played briefly in Tuesday's game at Dallas.

Also, he could have some added motivation to put up big numbers this season with the Eagles using their first pick in the draft on McNabb’s future successor Kevin Kolb.
